In May of 2019, Odwa Mqomboti the founder had a desire to own a unique locally manufactured fashion piece made with authentic African fabrics. The thought of being an African living in Africa and yet did not own a single garment that represent our culture and identity haunted him and he decided to do something about it.

This then inspired the creation of our business. The objective is to inspire people from all continents to celebrate the African prints and colours and embrace them not only when celebrating their traditional events and cultural ceremonies but to also recognise them as everyday fashion.
